America has much to be proud of! And this year the veterans of Grace Polaris church are emphasizing the positive! Along with saluting veterans and current service personnel, we'll honor the military family—those who wait behind and pray for the safety of their loved ones. As always, we'll visit history and pay tribute to the men and women of the "greatest generation" and those who followed in their footsteps—the citizen soldier. W'll close the evening with an all-American apple pie reception! The event is FREE, and you're invited!
Our featured speaker is Major General Deborah A.
Ashenhurst, the Adjutant General, Ohio. She is a member of
the Governor's cabinet and is responsible for the command
of the Ohio National Guard and the military readiness of the
Ohio Militia (more than 17,000 personnel). She enlisted in
the Ohio National Guard in 1978 and has since commanded
and held staff officer assignments at all levels. We're honored
to welcome General Ashenhurst to our celebration!
